Chatting with Glenda Vineer

Glenda Vineer is passionate about history and is president of the Frankston Historical Society.

Multi-talented she not only knows the stories of the Frankston pioneers off the top of her head but is also a skilled seamstress.

Often you can find Glenda at the Ballam Park Homestead having a yarn with students and volunteers.

If Glenda could give advice to her younger self she would say hindsight is a great thing, get yourself a good work ethic and push your career to the fullest.

You have been told these things many times I am sure, please listen because your generation will hit hard times.

Be gentle with your self, I am a child of the universe I’m only here once and for a short time so make every day count.
